1. Who We Are

VidBox (https://vid.terabox.live) is a video aggregation and discovery platform. We embed publicly available video content from third-party platforms. We do not host video files on our own servers.

2a. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit VidBox, our servers and analytics system automatically collect:

IP address — used solely to determine your approximate country/region for analytics. We do not store your full IP address long-term or use it for any other purpose.
Browser type and version — e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari
Operating system — e.g., Windows, Android, iOS
Device type — Desktop, Mobile, or Tablet
Pages visited — which pages on our site you viewed
Referring URL — the website you came from before visiting us (if any)

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it through our contact form.

If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Analytics & site improvement — understanding how visitors use our site, which content is popular, and where our traffic comes from
Security — detecting and preventing malicious activity, bot traffic, and abuse

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

VidBox uses a minimal number of cookies:

Session cookie (_vs) — A randomly generated identifier used to count unique visitors in our analytics. It does not contain any personally identifiable information. This cookie expires after 1 year. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.

We do not use tracking cookies for advertising profiling. However, third-party services embedded on our site (see Section 5) may set their own cookies over which we have no control.

Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies or delete existing cookies. Disabling cookies will not prevent you from using VidBox, but our analytics may count you as a new visitor on each session.

5. Third-Party Services

5a. Embedded Video Platforms

Videos on VidBox are embedded from platforms such as YouTube (Google LLC) and Vimeo. When you watch an embedded video, that platform's player loads directly in your browser and may collect data about you according to their own privacy policies:

Your interactions with embedded video players are subject to those platforms' privacy practices.

5b. Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts to display typography on our site. When you load a page, your browser may connect to Google's servers to download fonts. Google may collect your IP address as part of this request. See Google's Privacy Policy.

5c. Advertising (Google AdSense)

VidBox may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and other ad networks. These services use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other websites on the internet.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or AboutAds.info.

5d. IP Geolocation

We use the ip-api.com service to determine the approximate country of our visitors based on IP address. This service processes your IP address to return geographic information. Results are cached in our database; your IP address is not permanently stored in a format accessible to the public.

6. Data Retention

Visitor analytics data (page views, country, device info) is retained indefinitely to provide long-term traffic analysis. You may request deletion of data associated with your usage by contacting us.

Contact form submissions are retained for no longer than 90 days after the inquiry is resolved.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

VidBox is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

10. International Transfers

Our website may be accessed from anywhere in the world. If you are visiting from outside our hosting country, your information may be transferred to and processed in a different jurisdiction. By using VidBox, you consent to such transfer in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

11. Do Not Track (DNT)

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature. Our site currently does not respond to DNT signals. If you wish to opt out of analytics tracking, you may delete the _vs cookie from your browser at any time.
